Kathryn Clout

After being in early childhood education for many years in various roles, privately and in the public sector, Kathryn felt it was it was timely to put her research, values, beliefs, and understandings of the learning environment for young children into practice! 2005 was the genesis of The Treehouse; a very special place for children to be nourished and inspired in their learning.

Kathryn has a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning, a Diploma in Teaching, and a Graduate Certificate in Management. She is an enthusiastic advocate for children.

Kathryn believes that a culture of aesthetic opportunities will nourish the minds of young children and encourage them to explore the world around them. She loves to inspire children in their learning through small world play. She believes in an ethos of excellence; excellence in educators, excellence in the environment and excellence in provision of beautiful resources. Children deserve excellence!

Kathryn has been married to Kelvin for over 39 years. They have three adult children, and five glorious grandchildren.

Our teachers are special people, carefully selected for their personal qualities of warmth, empathy and fun as well as their teaching skills and sharing of our philosophy.

We have a policy of employing trained registered teachers as permanent staff. All staff are police vetted for safety and legislative requirements.
